Overview

Embark on a deeply enriching 9-day journey that moves beyond the typical tourist path to offer a truly immersive Kenyan experience, highlighting art, culture, and nature, all while staying with local host families. Your adventure begins in the bustling capital of Nairobi, where you’ll blend iconic wildlife sightings—from a city-skyline safari in Nairobi National Park to feeding giraffes and comforting baby elephants—with a deep dive into the city’s vibrant creative heart at local art studios and markets.

A scenic train ride then whisks you past the savannah to the historic coast, leading to Mombasa, where you’ll picnic with giraffes and soak up Swahili history. The final days are dedicated to the blissful, laid-back atmosphere of Watamu, famous for its crystal-clear waters, Watamu Marine National Park’s colorful reefs, and the ancient Gede Ruins. This tour is an authentic tapestry woven with conservation, creativity, comfortable local homestays, and the irresistible charm of the Kenyan coast.
